England wicket-keeper Ben Foakes had an embarrassing moment against India in the Hyderabad test.
England’s batting order was rattled against India in the first test at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Indian spinners had a terrific outing in the first innings and bundled out England for just 246 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked up 3 wickets each in the first innings. For the visitors, skipper Ben Stokes played a valiant knock of 70 runs.
English wicket-keeper Ben Foakes seems to have a disappointing day in Hyderabad. He managed to score only four with the bat and had a bit of an embarrassing moment when the Indian innings began. Ben Foakes crashed onto stumps while collecting a throw and that made everyone present at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad go in splits.
This incident happened during India’s innings. India began aggressively and scored 19 runs in the first two overs. Captain Rohit Sharma played a flick down to deep square for a single. England wicket-keeper Ben Foakes ran forward to collect a throw but had a terrible crash. He crashed into the stumps and everyone shared a great laugh after the incident.

From commentators to social media users, everyone had fun while talking about Ben Foakes. The English wicket-keeper was too focused on the ball and forgot the direction he was running in. Team India started aggressively against English bowlers as opener Yashasvi Jaiswal’s fearless approach put England back under pressure.
Ben Foakes didn’t had a great day with the bat as well and he managed to contribute only four runs to the English total. English skipper Ben Stokes played a magnificent knock of 70 runs to put England in a decent position in the first innings.
