Rishabh Pant got run out for 74 runs while trying to sneak a risky single.
Rishabh Pant faced an unlucky run-out on day three of the ongoing third test between the Indian Cricket Team and the England Cricket Team. In the first session of the day’s play, Pant and KL Rahul dominated England bowlers, putting their team in a great position.
Rahul and Pant etched a stand of 141 runs for the fourth wicket, and with the way they were batting, it seemed India would end the first session wicketless. However, in the final over of the session, Pant tried to sneak a risky single, but that didn’t work in his favour.
However, Ben Stokes showed quick reflexes to dismiss the Indian wicket-keeper through a run-out. The left-handed batsman remained short of the crease and lost his wicket for 74 runs off 112 deliveries. He scored eight fours and two sixes during his knock.
