Former Indian pacer RP Singh clinched a five-wicket haul at the Lord’s during a test match in 2007. England piled up 298/10 in the first innings, while India were bowled out for 201 runs.
In the second innings, RP Singh picked five wickets for 59 runs to bowl out England for 282. India had a big target of 380 runs in the second innings. They ended with 282/9 on day five, and the match ended in a draw.
4. Bishan Bedi – 6/226
Former Indian spinner Bishan Singh Bedi picked a six-wicket haul at the Lord’s against England in 1974. In the first innings, England hammered a gigantic total of 629/10 with centuries from three batsmen.
Bedi picked six wickets for 226 runs for India. England won the match by an innings and 285 runs after India were bowled out for 302 and 42 in both innings.
3. Bhuvneshwar Kumar – 6/82

Indian seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar played a key role in India’s victory at the Lord’s in 2014. India were bowled out for 295 in the first innings. Later, Kumar hunted six wickets for 82 runs to bundle out England for 319. India then scored 342 runs in the second innings and set a target of 319 for the hosts. Bowling out England for 223 in the final innings of the game, India won the clash by 95 runs.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar not only picked a six-wicket haul in the game, but also scored a half-century in the second innings with the bat.
2. Amar Singh – 6/35
Former Indian pacer Amar Singh is slotted second in this list with his six-wicket haul at the Lord’s in 1936. In the first innings, India were bowled out for 147 runs. However, with Amar Singh’s six wickets for 35 runs, they ended England’s innings on 134. Later India managed only 93 runs in the second innings, setting the hosts a modest total of 107 runs.
However, Singh’s performance went in vain as England chased the target with easy and won the encounter by nine wickets.
1. Ishant Sharma – 7/74

Ishant Sharma steals the top spot in this list and is the only Indian bowler to register a seven-wicket haul at the Lord’s. During the clash in 2014, Bhuvneshwar Kumar rocked with his six-wicket haul in the first innings and then Ishant oozed his class in the second innings.
England had a target of 319 runs in the second innings. Sharma demolished England’s batting line-up, taking seven wickets for 74 runs. India won the encounter by 95 runs and Ishant Sharma won the Player of the Match award for his magnificent spell.
