Prasidh Krishna took three wickets in first innings of the SCG test.
India made a strong comeback on the second day of the fifth test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT) 2024-25 in Sydney.
After scoring 185 runs in the first innings, the Indian bowlers did well to dismiss Australia for just 181 runs.
Jasprit Bumrah started the proceedings for India, removing Queensland pair of Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschagne early. However, the India captain left the field after bowling one over post lunch due to back spasms on day 2.
Prasidh Krishna led the Indian attack with figures of 3/42. The 28-year-old took key wickets, starting with Steve Smith to break the 57-run partnership with Beau Webster. He then dismissed Alex Carey, ending the 41-run stand between Carey and Webster for the sixth wicket.
The Indian pacer, who is playing his first game of the series, has now shared his thoughts on how the different leadership styles of Rohit Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli affect the team.

Speaking to the media after day 2 of the ongoing Sydney test, Krishna said the Indian bowling unit works hard with clear plans.
He said, “I think no matter who is leading, as a team we prepare really well about what we can do and what need to be done when we go in as bowling unit.”
Krishna further emphasized that clarity in plans is a hallmark of the Indian team and remains the same, regardless of the on-field captain.
He continued, “The plan was pretty clear even while Bumrah was on or Virat was on, not so much changed that way.“
