The Indian Premier League (IPL) is topmost league in franchise cricket, which is why all the players must be at their best to perform well. There have been many incredible batting performances over the years, but bowlers are also not far behind.
A hat-trick, which means taking three wickets in three consecutive deliveries, is one of the rarest feats for bowlers in any form of the game, but there have been a number of bowlers who have achieved this landmark in the IPL.
Over the years, there have been 23 hat-tricks in the IPL and a total of 19 bowlers have registered their names in the record books. In this article, we will talk about the list of bowlers with most hat-tricks in the IPL.

3. Yuvraj Singh – 2
Yuvraj Singh has been one of the highest-paid cricketers in the IPL history, and his price was because of this match-winning ability with the bat. But he has achieved some incredible stuff with the ball as well.
Yuvraj is one of three bowlers with hat-tricks in the tournament’s history. He took both hat tricks playing for Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings). He took both in the 2009 edition against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Deccan Chargers.
2. Yuzvendra Chahal – 2
Yuzvendra Chahal is the first and so far the only bowler to take 200 or more wickets in the IPL history and is also the leading wicket-taker of the league. He has many bowling records to his name, which also includes multiple hat-tricks.
His first one came for Rajasthan Royals in 2022 against Kolkata Knight Riders. He then became the first bowler to take a hat-trick in the 2025 edition. He dismissed Chennai Super Kings’ Deepak Hooda, Anshul Kamboj, and Noor Ahmad at the MA Chidambaram Stadium to complete his second one while playing for Punjab Kings.
1. Amit Mishra – 3
Former Indian leg-spinner Amit Mishra is the only bowler to pick three hat-tricks in the tournament history. He played for four different teams in his career and took 174 wickets in 162 matches. He ended up with three hat-tricks. Mishra took his first hat-trick in the 2008 for Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals).
Later in 2011, he took his second one for Deccan Chargers, and his third one came in the 2013 season, playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. His first two hat tricks came against Deccan Chargers, and the third one was against Pune Warriors.
