Asia Cup 2025: What are the changes India have made to their playing XI against Oman?

India won the toss and opted to bat first against Oman in match 12 of Asia Cup 2025.
Indian Cricket Team are locking horns with Oman in their last group stage match of Asia Cup 2025. The encounter is underway at Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi, on Saturday, September 19.
India have already qualified for the Super Four round of Asia Cup 2025 after winning both of their opening games. They crushed the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by nine wickets in their first match and Pakistan by seven wickets in their next match. The ongoing dead-rubber game against Oman offers them a great opportunity to give game time to players who warmed bench in the first two games.
The Men in Blue played the same playing XI in the first two matches against the UAE and Pakistan in Dubai. However, they made two changes in their playing XI against Oman. India have rested pacer Jasprit Bumrah and spinner Varun Chakravarthy, and in their place pacers Arshdeep Singh and Harshit Rana have been added to the XI.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav won the toss and opted to bat first against Oman. The India vs Oman clash is the last match of the group stage with India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka making it into the Super Four.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has shown a wonderful form with the ball and is the leading wicket-taker for India with seven wickets. He won Player of the Match in both opening games, after picking a four-wicket haul against UAE and a three-wicket haul against Pakistan. With more than 70 runs, Abhishek Sharma is the leading run-scorer for the team.
In the Super Four round, India will clash with Pakistan on September 21, Bangladesh on September 24, and Sri Lanka on September 26. All these games will be played at Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai.
