The Indian Cricket Team and the England Cricket Team are locking horns in fourth test of the five-match series at Old Trafford, Manchester. During the first session of the day one, a delivery by Chris Woakes broke Yashasvi Jaiswal’s bat.
The incident happened during ninth over of the Indian innings. The delivery off Chris Woakes nipped back with some bounce, smashing the splice of the bat. As a result, the handle cracked and the Indian opener had to immediately call for a new bat. Jaiswal and KL Rahul opened the innings for India after England skipper Ben Stokes won the toss and opted to field first.
