South Africa have never won the tournament and will aim for their first-ever title. Aiden Markram is set to captain the Proteas in the T20 World Cup 2026. They have a strong batting unit with the likes of Dewald Brevis, David Miller, Quinton de Kock, Tristan Stubbs, and Ryan Rickelton.
