The 11th edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2023) is all set to start on August 16.

Every major cricket-playing nation has developed its own T20 competition after the success of the Indian Premier League. One such tournament started in 2013 by the Cricket West Indies, which was known as the Carribbean Premier League. Since then, it has become one of the most glamorous leagues in the world.

So far, ten editions have taken place successfully. This competition has a total of six teams and is played every year. The next edition of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2023) is all set to kick off, and here we will talk about all the details one needs to know about the coming season.

Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2023) Details:

The coming season will also have a total of six teams competing against each other to become champions. The six teams to take part in the tournament are the Saint Lucia Kings, Jamaica Tallawahs, Barbados Royals, Trinbago Knight Riders, St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, and Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Jamaica won the last edition, and it was their third title. They will enter the coming season as the defending champions. TKR are the most successful franchise, with four titles in total. A total of 34 games will be played in the coming season, including the final on September 25.

The tournament will take place across six venues. Every team will play the other five teams, and the top four teams will qualify for the playoffs. It will be another blockbuster season, and fans are excited for exciting cricket in the coming CPL season.
