Indian cricketing fraternity reacts to Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha in Ayodhya

Ram Mandir Pran Pratistha ceremony was done by Indian PM Narendra Modi on January 22, 2024.
Bhagwan Ram returned to his birthplace in Ayodhya on January 22, 2024 in a humongous occasion known as Ram Temple Pran Pratistha (Ram Temple consecration).
Several prominent personalities from India’s sports fraternity have also been invited to attend the holy ceremony. The invitees included Indian cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, two-time World Cup winning captain MS Dhoni and batting maestro Virat Kohli.
Former India women’s cricketer Mithali Raj, Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin and Indian women’s cricket team skipper Harmanpreet Kaur also received the invitation.
Before them, Indian cricketing legends like MS Dhoni and Sachin Tendulkar were the few to receive the invitation. Virat Kohli and other current Indian team members have received permission from the BCCI to attend the occasion as the team prepares for the first test against England in Hyderabad.

Here is the list of cricketers who got the invitation for the Ram Temple Pran Pratistha, Anil Kumble, Gautam Gambhir, Harmanpreet Kaur, Harbhajan Singh, Kapil Dev, MS Dhoni, Mithali Raj, Ravichandran Ashwin, Rahul Dravid, Ravindra Jadeja, Rohit Sharma, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Sunil Gavaskar, Venkatesh Prasad, Virat Kohli, Virender Sehwag.
Anil Kumble, who was present at Ayodhya said,”It is a wonderful occasion, a very divine occasion. Blessed to be a part of this. It’s very historic. Looking forward to seeking blessings from Ram Lalla…”
“We all wanted this for a very long time. It’s just a calling to be here on this big occasion and it’s a celebration and we are just happy to be a part of this celebration,” Mithali Raj told ANI.
The Pran Prathistha of Ram Lalla at Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya was held on Monday afternoon in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saint, and a host of distinguished guests.
