The final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, IND vs SA, will be played at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai.

Indian Women Cricket Team and South Africa Women Cricket Team are all set to battle for the title in ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. The much-awaited final between both sides is scheduled to be played on November 2 (Sunday) at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Navi Mumbai.

Unfortunately, the summit clash could not start on scheduled time at 3 PM IST due to rain. The toss was delayed due to continuous rain showers at the venue and this has left teams as well as fans frustrated.

Notably, there is a reserve day on November 3 for the final of ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, which will come into play if the clash is unable to be completed on Sunday. However, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has emphasised that every effort will be made to complete the encounter on Sunday, even if some overs have to be shortened in each innings. However, to produce a result, at least 20 overs per side need to be played.

For the final, the scheduled first innings hours are from 3 PM to 6.10 PM, while the second innings timings are from 6.40 pm and 9.50 PM. There is two hours of extra time before overs will be deducted. The match needs to witness at least 20 overs per side to draw a result. The cut-off time for a 20-over game is 9.08 PM. If the match does not start before 9:08 PM, it will be postponed to the reserve day.

Notably, there are two different scenarios to take into consideration for the reserve day. Suppose, if the 50-over match is affected by rain and shortened by say 40 overs but cannot resume today, it will restart as a fresh 50-over match on the reserve day. However, if the play resumes after being reduced but rain returns and halts the play again, the encounter will continue from the reduced point on the reserve day.
