He is replacing the legendary cricketer Brian Lara as the Sunrisers Hyderabad coach. Brian Lara, marks the end of his two-year association with the team.
One time IPL winners (2016) and two time finalists, Sunrisers Hyderabad took it to twitter to officially announce the arrival of their new Head coach. With hopes of doing well in the upcoming seasons, Hyderabad have got confidence in their new inclusion to the coaching staff.

A former New Zealand cricketer, Vettori was known for his exceptional spin-bowling skills and his strategic thinking on the field. Having played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Vettori’s connection to the league is well-established.
Vettori’s coaching trajectory has been on a steady rise. After his playing days, he took up the role of coach for RCB, where he further honed his leadership and tactical abilities. His knack for understanding the nuances of the game led him to become the assistant and spin bowling coach of the Australian men’s national cricket team.
Sunrisers Hyderabad bid adieu to Brian Lara as head coach
As the Sunrisers Hyderabad bid farewell to Brian Lara, the franchise reflects on the impactful contributions he made during his two-year association. Lara, a cricketing legend in his own right, had been an integral part of the coaching staff. During his two years stint as the head coach, the team was unable to qualify for the playoffs.
