In the second ODI of the IND vs AUS series in Indore, Australian opener David Warner left spectators in awe and disbelief as he switched his stance to bat right-handed. This unexpected move was aimed at countering Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who has built a formidable reputation as a left-handers' terror.
Warner's decision to bat right-handed was prompted by Ashwin's knack for dismissing left-handed batsmen. The 36-years-old opener, known for his innovative and fearless approach to the game, decided to try something unconventional. With the DLS target set at 317 due to rain interruptions.

Warner, who had been batting as a left-hander since the start of his innings, produced a moment of sheer brilliance. As Ashwin bowled a delivery, Warner played a delightful switch-hit, sending the ball racing to the boundary.
In the very next over, Ashwin had the last laugh. With his wily off-spin, Ashwin deceived Warner, who had continued to bat right-handed, and trapped him leg-before-wicket (LBW). Warner's bold experiment came to a halt, and he departed after scoring 53 runs off 39 balls at a striking rate of 135.90.
