Dawid Malan played 22 tests, 30 ODIs and 62 T20Is for the England cricket team.

Veteran England cricketer Dawid Malan announced his retirement from international cricket on August 28. The 36-year-old played 22 tests, 30 ODIs and 62 T20Is for the national side.

The left-handed batter is only the second English batsman after Jos Buttler to have recorded centuries in all three international formats. In September 2020, Malan reached the top of the ICC’s T20I batting rankings.

Malan made his T20I debut against South Africa at Cardiff in June 2017. He then made his test debut against South Africa at the Oval in July 2017 and his ODI debut came against Ireland in Dublin in May 2019.

The southpaw scored 1074 runs at an average of 27.53 in tests, 1450 runs at 55.76 in ODIs, and 1892 runs at 36.38 in T20Is. Overall, Malan made eight centuries and 32 half-centuries across all three formats while representing England.

As Dawid Malan announced retirement, let’s take a look at his top five knocks in international cricket.
