DC's full schedule for IPL 2026: Know match dates, timings, venues & more

Delhi Capitals (DC) will hope to end their title drought in IPL 2026 under Axar Patel’s captaincy.

Delhi Capitals (DC) are one of the few remaining teams left to win a title in the Indian Premier League (IPL), despite competing since the inaugural season. Last year, they started off brilliantly under new skipper Axar Patel, however lost their way mid-season dramatically.

They will look to learn from past mistakes and script history this time around. DC have yet again assembled a title-winning squad, full of match-winners. KL Rahul will be their key player, who will be aiming to make a statement after not being considered by India for a place in the T20I Squad.

Nitish Rana was traded to DC, marking his return to his state team. Prithvi Shaw too returns to the side after going unsold in previous editions. Kuldeep Yadav, who was benched for most of ICC T20 World Cup 2026, will be aiming a strong comeback.

Their overseas contingent is formidable, boasting the likes of Mitchell Starc, Tristan Stubbs, Lungi Ngidi and David Miller. DC have the players to win the IPL, but it will come down to how they can handle pressure as captain Axar Patel looks to end DC’s losing streak.

DC play another home game, this time against Gujarat Titans (GT) and then travel to Chennai for their fourth match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). They finish off the league stage with an away match against Kolkata Knight Riders.
