Delhi Capitals have lost three consecutive games in IPL 2026.
Delhi Capitals (DC) are battling with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, where they look for a comeback after losing their last three games in a row. The RR vs DC clash got underway at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on May 1.
RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to bat first in the encounter. At the toss, he informed that they have made two changes in the playing XI, bringing back Shubham Dubey and Ravi Bishnoi.
On the other hand, DC skipper Axar Patel revealed that they made three changes to their side. Sahil Parakh, David Miller, and Dushmantha Chameera were not part of the encounter. Pathum Nissanka and Mitchell Starc were added to the side.
Notably, as DC players arrived at the field, fans noticed black bands on their arms. Viewers were confused as to why DC players are wearing black armbands in the encounter.

The DC players are wearing black armbands to pay condolences to two of their young fans, who passed away recently. The franchise also shared a post on Instagram to mourn the loss of 14-year-old Abhav and 20-year-old Yagya Bhatia. The duo supported Delhi Capitals and attended their matches inside the stadium.
Heartbroken. There are no words. We mourn the tragic loss of Abhav (14) and Yagya Bhatia (20), part of our DC Toli. They have been in the stands with us, cheering for Dilli. Today, we stand with their families and loved ones in this moment of unimaginable grief. Rest in peace, Abhav and Yagya. You will always be remembered”, DC wrote in the IG post.
Meanwhile, DC take the seventh spot in the IPL 2026 points table with six points. They have won three games and lost five out of eight.
