Dhanashree Verma accuses ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal of cheating after two months into marriage

Choreographer and social media influencer Dhanashree Verma has made a shocking claim about her ex-husband and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. Dhanashree accused Yuzvendra of cheating on her after two months into their marriage.

Chahal and Dhanashree were granted divorce in March 2025. The couple first connected during an online dance session in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown in India. The couple got married in December 2020. After their marriage, they became one of the popular celebrity couples with a lot of fan following.

However, speculation about issues in their relationship became talk of the town after their wedding. In 2025, the couple finally decided to part ways after living apart for almost 18 months. They filed for divorce in February this year and were officially separated in March.

Dhanashree Verma accuses Yuzvendra Chahal of cheating on her two months into marriage

Dhanashree is currently part of a reality show “Rise on Fall.” During a conversation with fellow contestant and actress Kubbra Sait on the show, Dhanashree claimed that Chahal cheated on her after two months of marriage. The video clip of the chat has also gone viral on social media.

During the conversation, Kubbra asked, “When did you discover in your relationship, ye nahi chal sakta and mistake hogaya?” (When did you discover in your relationship that this won’t work and it was a mistake). Dhanashree replied, “In the first year, when I caught him in the second month.”

On the work front, Dhanashree is a choreographer, dancer, YouTuber, and a qualified dentist. She rose to popularity through her dance videos on online platforms like YouTube and Instagram.

Meanwhile, Chahal was last seen playing competitive cricket in August 2025, where he played for Northamptonshire in English County Cricket

On the other hand, Chahal has been out of the Indian Cricket Team for more than two years. His last international game was a T20I match against the West Indies in August 2023.
