From Virat Kohli to Rahul Dravid, everyone gave Yashasvi Jaiswal a standing ovation.

India's debutant opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has impressed everyone with his batting prowess in the first test against West Indies. Along with captain Rohit Sharma, Jaiswal has stitched a 200-run partnership. Jaiswal's entry into the test team has also marked the beginning of India's transition period.

Team Management looks extremely happy to see 21-year old left hander score big runs at Windsor Park in Dominica. Indian team head coach Rahul Dravid also stood up and applauded Yashasvi Jaiswal when he completed his maiden fifty in his first test innings. Both Indian openers have tamed the Windies bowlers.

Mumbai's sensational opener Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his innings from the day 1 score of 43. He took very little time to reach the first milestone of his career. Yashasvi Jaiswal pulled one of Alzarri Joseph's bouncers to complete his first fifty in the test cricket.

With his fifty, the entire Indian team in the dressing room applauded the beginning of one of the majestic test careers for India. Along with coach Rahul Dravid, star Indian batter Virat Kohli also gave a warm round of applause to the youngster to encourage him. Yashasvi has impressed everyone with his temperament against slow bowl bowlers in the Dominica test.

Coming from a humble background Jaiswal had a stellar performance in the Indian domestic tournaments as well as in the big challenging Indian Premier League for Rajasthan Royals. He made his test debut backing up his first-class average of above 80 in the Ranji Trophy and Duleep Trophy.

He played magnificent shots against Cornwall and Warrican. Jaiswal also looked comfortable against the pace bowling attack of Kemar Roach, Jason Holder, and Alzarri Joseph. India are going forward with a huge score in mind. West Indies have failed to break India's opening partnership in two successive sessions.
