ENG vs IRE: England playing XI vs Ireland, 3rd ODI, 2023 - Predicted

England will face Ireland in the third and final ODI on Tuesday in Bristol.
After no play was possible in the first ODI in Leeds, England and Ireland faced each other on Saturday in the second ODI game. English team looked pretty good and posted a huge total of 334 runs in the first innings. They restricted Ireland and won the second ODI by 48 runs.
That win gave them an unassailable 1-0 lead with one game left to be played. The final ODI will take place now on September 26 (Tuesday) at County Ground, Bristol. England are favourites to win the game and will look to end the series 2-0. Here is the predicted playing XI for England in the final ODI against Ireland.
ENG vs IRE: England’s Predicted playing XI vs Ireland
1. Phil Salt :

Philip Salt gave England a quick start in the last game. He was looking good but got out at the wrong time and made a quick 28 off 21 balls with six fours. But he will look to finish the unfinished business in the next game and can be a dangerous batter at the top of the order against Ireland.
2. Will Jacks :

The hard-hitting all-rounder can bat anywhere in the batting-order, but his style of playing never gets chanced. Will Jacks was the one who attacked Ireland and pushed Ireland on the backfoot. But he was unfortunate and missed his ton by six runs. Jacks made 94 off 88, with seven fours and fours sixes. But we can expect more fireworks this time around.
3. Zak Crawley (c):

The captaincy tenure for Zak Crawley didn't start well with the bat, as he bagged a two-ball duck. But we all know how dangerous he can be when he gets going. Crawley will look to use this opportunity to take the attack to the opposition and play a captain's knock, and he is quite capable of doing that.
4. Ben Duckett :

Ben Duckett was another English batter who looked good against Ireland in the last match. He is a busy player and keeps rotating the strike. His experience in the middle-order is very important for this group. Duckett made 48 off 49 but got out two runs short of a fifty. He looked good and will be eager to make a big score.
5. Sam Hain :

After a good start, England did tumble in the middle-overs in the last game. But then, Sam Hain came and took the game away from Ireland. That was a debut game for Hain, and he scored a brilliant 89 off 82 with eight fours. He used the opportunity pretty well and will look to end the series with another big innings.
6. Jamie Smith (wk) :

It wasn't a good debut for Jamie Smith, as he only managed nine runs. But he is likely to get another chance to get going. England have a big pool of hard-hitting batters, and Smith is one of them. He likes to take on the bowling, and we might see some big hits from him in the coming game.
7. Brydon Carse :

Brydon Carse is a pretty good all-rounder who can smash a few big shots at the bottom of the order. He played a good innings of 32 off 30 balls, with two fours and one six. With the ball as well, he took 1/40. He gives a great balance to the team and will be looking to do the same.
8. Rehan Ahmed :

Rehan Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers in the last game. He couldn't contribute with the bat but picked up 4/54 with the balls. He took the important wickets and broke the bone of Ireland's chase. Rehan is very difficult to pick if batters haven't seen him, which will make him a dangerous customer to handle.
9. Tom Hartley :

Tom Hartley made his debut in the last game and did a decent job. With the bat, he scored a 9-balls 12 and bowled ten overs for just 48 runs when the batters were attacking. Hartley is a decent all-rounder for the team who can bowl his ten overs of left-arm quick and can play some quick cameos.
10. Matthew Potts :

Matthew Potts took two big wickets out of the top three of Ireland, which dented their chances in the chase. He ended up with 2/47 and bowled well in the game. He is the only English pacer with test experience, and he bowled in the tight channel that troubled the Irish batters. Potts will look to do well and help England win the series.
11. George Scrimshaw :

The 25-years-old George Scrimshaw made his debut in the last game. He bowled six no-balls and went for 66 runs in 8.4 overs, but he also picked up three crucial wickets in the game. This was a pretty impressive performance in the debut game. Scrimshaw will gain confidence with that and will try to bowl better in the coming game.
