Fan breaches security and hugs Virat Kohli to show support to Palestine in IND vs AUS CWC 2023 final

A fan breaches the security to stop action in World Cup final between Indian and Australia in Ahmedabad to hug Virat Kohli.
After a magnificent start from captain Rohit Sharma, Indian batting line-up had a bit of a collapse. Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer departed in quick succession to give Australia a chance to come back in the finals. Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad is jam-packed with people wearing blue jerseys. The entire ground was stunned in silence when Australia made a roaring comeback into the game with two quick wickets.
Right after Shreyas Iyer’s dismissal, KL Rahul and Virat Kohli took the matter into their own hands and were cautious in their approach to begin a partnership. In the 14th over, a fan managed to breach the security and went directly to the pitch side. This made the game halt for 5 minutes, and security managed to drag the fan away from the action. The game was resumed right after the fan was dragged back.
Fan with 'Stop Bombing Palestine' message
