Musical ceremony for the Ahmedabad fans

Before the toss, there was a colorful opening ceremony for the Ahmedabad crowd. Big Bollywood singers like Sukhwinder Singh and Arijit Singh entertained everyone with their music. The opening ceremony was not broadcasted either on TV or on digital platforms, as it was restricted only to fans present on the ground. After the end of the first innings, another musical extravaganza awaits Ahmedabad crowd present in the stadium.

Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and invited Pakistan to bat first. Team India will be boosted by Shubman Gill’s comeback. Gill missed the first two league games against Australia and Afghanistan due to dengue. Gill has replaced Ishan Kishan and will be taking his usual opening position along with captain Rohit Sharma. The rest of the squad remains the same, as India decided to go with three pace bowlers and two spinners.

Pakistan openers have gotten off to a decent start in Ahmedabad. Imam ul Haq and Abdullah Shafique (20) added 41 runs for the opening wicket. Mohammed Siraj got the first wicket after dismissing Abdullah Shafique in the 8th over. Imam and Shafique started nicely by scoring five boundaries in the first three overs. They both scored 16 runs in the first two overs with a few boundaries against Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj.
