Indian Cricket Team batter Virat Kohli set the stage on fire with his blistering innings in the first ODI against the South African Cricket Team. The series opener between the two teams is underway at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi.
Virat Kohli, who slammed an unbeaten fifty in the last ODI he played in Australia, continued from where he left off. The batter walked out to bat at three inside the powerplay after Yashasvi Jaiswal lost his wicket for 18 to Nandre Burger.
As he walked out to bat, Virat Kohli looked at his fluent best and played gorgeous shots, making the crowd go berserk. The batter started his innings aggressively, hitting the spinners as well as the pacers all around the park.

Virat Kohli along with Rohit Sharma (57) hit a solid 136-run partnership, their second consecutive century stand. Kohli, in particular, looked in vintage mode as he slammed a brilliant fifty, adding another milestone to his kitty.
Virat Kohli made sure that he converted his fifty into a sensational ton as he slammed his hundred in 102 balls. This was his 52nd century in the 50-over format as he extended his lead at the top of the list of most number of centuries in ODIs.
Virat Kohli has been in red-hot form in the last two games. After bagging two back-to-back ducks in Australia, he made a solid comeback in the third ODI, hitting an unbeaten 74 and then followed it up with a century in the Ranchi ODI.
