Ireland Women could manage only 112 and lost the game by a massive margin of 306 runs.
4. KL Rolton (AU-W) – 57 balls vs South Africa Women, Lincoln, 2000/01
The former Australian opener Karen Rolton held the record for the fastest century in women’s ODI cricket for a decade. She slammed a 57-ball century in a chase against South Africa women in Lincoln in 2000/01. South Africa batted first and scored 169/8. Chasing the score, Rolton gave her team a rocketing start and scored a flying century. She made an unbeaten 107 off 67 balls, with 18 fours, and took her team to 171/1 in just 25 overs to win the game.
3. Beth Mooney (AU-W) – 57 balls vs India Women, Delhi, 2025

The joint third-fastest century in women’s ODI cricket is registered under the name of Beth Mooney. She achieved the feat against India Women at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in September 2025. Batting first, Australia Women scored 412 in 47.5 overs, which is their joint-highest ODI total. Mooney reached her century off just 57 balls and scored 138 off 75 balls, with 23 fours and one six. Australia won that game by 43 runs.
2. Smriti Mandhana (IN-W) – 50 balls vs Australia Women, Delhi, 2025

The second-fastest ODI century in women’s cricket was slammed by Smriti Mandhana in the game where Mooney slammed a 57-ball century. Australia Women scored 412 runs, and it was a record chase, where India Women needed a good start.
That is where Mandhana went berserk and slammed a 50-ball ton. She scored 125 off 63 balls, with 17 fours and five sixes. She was taking India to all-time highest successful run-chase in WODIs, but got out at the wrong time. Her wicket brought Australia into the game as India women fell short by 43 runs, getting all out for 369.

1. Meg Lanning (AU-W) – 45 balls vs New Zealand Women, Sydney, 2012
The record for the fastest century in women’s ODI cricket is held by Australia’s Meg Lanning. She made history at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) against New Zealand Women during the 2012/13 home series. It came in a chase after New Zealand were bowled out for just 177 runs in the first innings.
Lanning didn’t waste any time and attacked from the first over. She completed the milestone off just 45 balls and scored a quickfire 103 off 50 balls, with 18 fours and three sixes to seal the deal for her team. Australia made 178/1 in just 21.2 overs and won the game.
