Another quick century at the international level was recorded by Namibia’s Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton. He scored a 33-ball ton against Nepal in February 2024 in Kirtipur. He came out to bat when Namibia were struggling at 62/3 in 10.4 overs. But he finished with 101 off 36 balls, with 11 fours and 8 sixes, taking his team to 206/4. His innings was full of smart betting and brutal hitting, and he helped Namibia win by 20 runs and also took 2/29 with the ball.
9. Wihan Lubbe (33 balls)
Wihan Lubbe’s 33-ball century during the Africa T20 Cup 2018 features at the 8th position. Playing for North West, he had an incredible innings against Limpopo in Paarl. He finished with 102 off just 36 balls, including 11 maximums and five fours. His knock took his team to a big total of 262/4, and they won by 102 runs.
8. Vaibhav Suryavashi (32 balls)
Vaibhav Suryavanshi is the youngest batter to feature on this list. He slammed a 32-ball ton for India A during the ACC Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 against UAE in Doha. His blistering knock had 15 sixes and 11 fours. He scored 144 runs off just 42 balls, at a strike rate of 342.85. He is the only batter in the world to have two T20 centuries off 35 or fewer balls.
7. Rishabh Pant (32 balls)
Rishabh Pant is in sixth place on this list. He has played some unbelievable knocks in his T20 career, and probably his best came while playing for Delhi during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2018 against Himachal Pradesh. Chasing the score of 145, Pant slammed a 32-ball ton while opening the innings. He finished with 116* off 38 balls, with 8 fours and 12 sixes, at a strike rate of 305.26. Delhi made 148/0 in just 11.4 overs and won the game.
6. Urvil Patel (31 balls)
Urvil Patel is the only batter with two T20 centuries within 31 or fewer deliveries. His 31-ball century came in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2025-26 for Gujarat against Services. Gujarat needed 183 runs to win, and Urvil delivered another blistering innings, for which he is known.
He slammed a 31-ball century and finished unbeaten at 119 off 37 balls, at a strike rate of 321.62. Urvil smashed 12 fours and ten sixes and took Gujarat to 183/2 in just 12.3 overs, to record the fifth-fastest T20 century ever.
5. Chris Gayle (30 balls)

If it is about power hitting, you can’t keep Chris Gayle out of the game. Famously known as “the Universe Boss,” he has countless hundreds in T20s, and all came at a rapid pace. But his fastest one came for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against now-defunct Pune Warriors during the IPL 2013 at Chinnaswamy Stadium. Gayle went after the bowling from the first ball and slammed a 17-ball fifty. He took it to another level and reached his century off 30 balls. Eventually, he finished unbeaten at 175 off 66 balls, with 13 fours and 17 sixes, as RCB finished with 263/5 and won the game by 130 runs. Gayle’s 175 is still the highest individual T20 score ever.
4. Muhammad Fahad (29 balls)
Turkey opener Muhammad Fahad holds the record for the third-fastest T20 century of all time. He had this moment during a T20 against Bulgaria in Sofia in July 2025. Batting first, Turkey scored 237 runs as Fahad scored a 29-ball century and scored 120 off 34 balls, with 10 fours and 12 sixes at a strike rate of 352.94. With this knock, he etched his name in the record books.
3. Abhishek Sharma (28 balls)
Abhishek Sharma is India’s promising T20I opener, who has made an impact in this format in just one year of making his debut. He has already earned the highest rating ever in T20Is. That is his game, and he plays in similar fashion every time. He has a 37-ball century for India, but his fastest T20 hundred came for Punjab off 28 balls against Meghalaya. Chasing 143 runs, Abhishek scored an unbeaten 106 off 29 balls, with 11 sixes and 8 fours at a strike rate of 365.51.
2. Urvil Patel (28 balls)

Urvil Patel is the joint-fastest Indian batter with a T20 century. He scored a 28-ball ton for Gujarat at SMAT 2024 against Tripura. Chasing 156 to win, Urvil played a blistering knock and scored 113 not out from 35 balls, with 12 sixes and 7 fours at a strike rate of 322.85, and took his team to win. His knock helped him to make his Indian Premier League (IPL) debut for Chennai Super Kings in 2025 as well.
1. Sahil Chauhan (27 balls)
The record for the fastest T20 century is recorded by Sahil Chauhan from Estonia. It came in a game against Cyprus during the Estonia tour of Cyprus 2024 in Episkopi. Estonia had a tough target of 192 to win, but Sahil made a mockery of the bowlers and the target. He scored a 27-ball century and scored an unbeaten 144 off 41 balls, with 18 sixes and six fours. He came out to bat when his team was 9/2 and took them to win and also made a world record.
