Jasprit Bumrah bowled three good overs, troubled the batters, and dismissed Zadran in the 7th over of the innings. Bumrah bowled a short-pitch ball, which took the edge and was caught by KL Rahul. Zadran made 22 off 28 balls with four boundaries before getting out. The ball was excellent, but Bumrah's celebration after the wicket caught the attention of many fans.
After taking the wicket, Bumrah pointed towards the hit head, indicating like it was a smart dismissal. However, this celebration was similar to that of Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, who had a similar celebration on the football field. Afghanistan have lost their first three wickets for just 63 runs in 13.1 overs, and their top three couldn't make a big score. Apart from Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya and Shradul Thakur have taken one wicket each. India need this win to add more points to the table, and if they can manage a big win, they can jump to the top of the points table, while Afghanistan are looking to win their first game of the tournament.
