BCCI Naman Awards 2026 will take place on March 15 in New Delhi.
Indian cricket has always valued far more than the trophies won or the records broken. It holds its deepest regard for the individuals who dedicated their entire lives to it. Every so often, a moment comes when the game stops to properly acknowledge the people who defined it. The BCCI Naman Awards exist precisely for that purpose, where service and sustained excellence are formally acknowledged. On Sunday, 15 March 2026, New Delhi will 2026 edition of the BCCI’s awards.
Roger Binny, Rahul Dravid and Mithali Raj headline the BCCI Naman Awards 2026 as the recipients of Lifetime Achievement honours. Binny and Dravid will each receive the Col. C. K. Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, the BCCI’s highest individual distinction, while Raj receives the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award for Women.
Binny’s legacy stretches from his match-winning seam bowling during India’s iconic 1983 World Cup triumph, where he finished as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker, through to his administrative tenure as the 36th BCCI President between 2022 and 2025. He coached the India Under-19 side to ICC World Cup glory in 2000 and served as a national selector from 2012 to 2016, contributing at virtually every level of the sport’s structure.
Dravid’s recognition reflects an exceptionally wide-ranging contribution. After accumulating over 24,000 international runs across more than a decade, he guided India’s Under-19 team to the 2018 ICC World Cup title before steering the senior men’s side to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2024 as head coach.
Raj’s award celebrates a career that produced 7,805 women’s ODI runs at an average of 50.68, making her the format’s all-time leading scorer, alongside captaincy that took India to two ICC Women’s World Cup finals.
Shubman Gill to get Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer

The ceremony also recognises five ICC trophy-winning Indian teams in a historic first, alongside individual domestic and international honours for players including Shubman Gill, Smriti Mandhana and Ayush Mhatre.
Shubman Gill will receive the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for the second time at BCCI Naman Awards 2026, while Smriti Mandhana will claim the women’s equivalent for the fifth time. Ayush Mhatre of Mumbai will take the Lala Amarnath Award for Best All-Rounder in Domestic Limited Overs Competitions, with Vidarbha’s Harsh Dubey winning the same award in the Ranji Trophy.
Mumbai’s Ira Jadhav and Haryana’s Shafali Verma will take home the Jagmohan Dalmiya Trophies for domestic women’s cricket, and the Mumbai Cricket Association will again win the award for Best Performance in BCCI Domestic Tournaments.
