Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) walked out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 mini-auction in Abu Dhabi knowing exactly what they wanted, because the franchise restructured their squad with intent while keeping the spine that had already proven its worth in recent seasons. KKR entered with the biggest purse in the room, spent boldly but with control, and finished with a group that feels well judged rather than overloaded.

Cameron Green anchors this rebuild, and his ₹25.20 crore signing marks a change in how the side plans to replace Andre Russell’s influence following his retirement.
