Arshdeep Singh gave away 54 runs in the four overs that he bowled in the second IND vs SA T20I.
It hasn’t been a great homecoming for Arshdeep Singh at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Mullanpur, New Chandigarh, where the second India vs South Africa T20I is taking place on Thursday, December 11.
Arshdeep Singh, who was magical with the ball in the last match, looked out of sorts in the ongoing second match. He was taken for cleaners right from the start and this put him under pressure with Quinton de Kock counter-attacking him.
After giving away 20 runs in his first two overs, Arshdeep Singh was brought back into the attack in the 11th over. But things turned worse for him as he delivered yet another poor over, which was laced with extras as he bowled a 13-ball over.
The pacer bowled seven wides in the over and after he delivered a fifth wide, head coach Gautam Gambhir fumed and was visibly unhappy. He was seen abusing Arshdeep Singh. The video went viral on the internet with many lashing out at the head coach for his antics.
