Australia have updated their squads for third ODI and five T20I games against India.

Australian Cricket Team have announced their squad for the last three T20Is against Indian Cricket Team. Moreover, they have also updated their team for the third ODI and first two games of the T20I series, which will begin on October 29.

All-rounder Jack Edwards has earned his maiden international call-up as he has been included in the team for the final ODI. He has got the opportunity on the back of his solid performances in the recent unofficial ODI series between India A and Australia A.

Matthew Kuhnemann, who played in the first ODI but missed the second game after Adam Zampa’s return, has been added for the third ODI. Moreover, in-form batter Marnus Labuschagne has been released from the ODI squad to prepare to play for Queensland in Sheffield Shield 2025-26.

For the T20I series, Glenn Maxwell and Ben Dwarshuis are fit to return for the last three games. Maxwell was ruled out of the first two games due to a fractured wrist, which he sustained during a training session in New Zealand last month. Dwarshuis was ruled out of the ODI series and the first two T20I games due to a calf injury. Mahli Beardman has also been called up for the last leg of the T20I series.

Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott will miss the last leg of the T20I series to play for New South Wales in Sheffield Shield tournament. While Hazlewood will miss the last three T20I games, Abbott will leave the squad after the third T20I.

Josh Phillippe, who played in the opening ODI but was left out in the second game after Alex Carey’s return, has been added to the T20I squad as a secondary wicket-keeper with doubts over Josh Inglis’ fitness as he is recovering from a calf injury.
