WPL 2026: Gujarat Giants full schedule

Gujarat Giants will face UP Warriorz in their first game of WPL 2026.
After the exciting mega auction, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the complete schedule for the fourth edition of the Women’s Premier League. The tournament is scheduled to be played between January 9 and February 5, and a total of 22 matches will be played between five teams.
Mumbai Indians (MI) will enter the tournament as the defending champions, and the other four teams are Delhi Capitals (DC), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), UP Warriorz (UPW), and Gujarat Giants (GG). The tournament will feature a number of high-voltage clashes, and all teams are gearing up for the lucrative league.
GG had a decent run in the last edition. After not being able to make it to the playoffs in the first two editions, they had an improved performance in 2025. They made it to the eliminator, where they lost to MI-W by 47 runs.
Ash Gardner (243 runs) and Beth Mooney (237 runs) were the top scorers for the team, which is why the franchise retained the two Australian duo. They have also made some excellent signings and are looking pretty solid on paper.
GG-W will be in action against UP Warriorz in their first game of WPL 2026. Players like Sophie Devine, Renuka Thakur, Georgia Wareham, and Danni Wyatt Hodge have joined the squad for the upcoming edition.
