Gujarat Titans full squad after IPL 2025 mega auction

Gujarat Titans finished eighth in the IPL 2024.

Gujarat Titans (GT) will be looking to turn around their fortunes with a new-look squad for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. After a disappointing run in IPL 2024, where they finished eighth in the league, GT made a few bold moves at the IPL 2025 mega auction.

Known for their impressive bowling unit, the franchise has added Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada to their fast bowling cartel. While Siraj’s fantastic control with the new ball will sharpen GT’s new ball attack, Rabada will provide control in the death overs.

The Titans have also acquired Jos Buttler to resolve their batting issues. Batting was one of the primary weaknesses of GT last season with no batter mounting big runs. The England white-ball captain will partner Shubman Gill to form one of the strongest opening pairs in the tournament.

Following the departure of Wriddhiman Saha, the franchise have made the addition of Anuj Rawat for the wicket-keeping slot.

Coming into the auction, GT had made five retentions – Rashid Khan, Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, Rahul Tewatia and Shahrukh Khan (uncapped player). The franchise had aimed at maintaining the strong core of the existing squad
