Black Magic? Watch: Hardik Pandya whispers something at ball, dismisses Imam Ul Haq on next delivery in IND vs PAK CWC 2023 clash

Hardik Pandya got rid of Pakistan opener Imam Ul Haq.

India and Pakistan are head-on against each other at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. This is the 8th meeting in the World Cup tournament between the two, and Pakistan are searching for their maiden World Cup win against India. Pakistani openers did a decent job against Indian new-ball pace attack. Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq added 41 runs for the opening wicket.

Left-hand batter Imam-ul-Haq (36) was looking great in his movement, and he also began his innings in fiery style. Imam smashed three boundaries against Mohammed Siraj in the first over. He looked dangerous during his innings and smashed six boundaries. He looked in touch till he played a loose shot to lose his wicket against all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Imam’s wicket went viral immediately, as it had a cheeky element to it.

Hardik Pandya’s magic trick to dismiss Imam Ul Haq!

Fans claim a ‘magic’ trick as Hardik Pandya kissed and whispered something on the ball before he was about to go for Imam’s wicket. Pandya bowled a fuller-length delivery to invite Imam-ul-Haq for a drive. Imam went ahead, but his attempt to take the ball away from him made him a little uncomfortable. Imam got an outside edge that went to the keeper. Wicket-keeper KL Rahul took a screamer behind the stumps to dismiss Pakistani opener.

Imam-ul-Haq scored 36 runs off 38 balls with six boundaries. Fans on social media went mad at the video clips, and they went viral on twitter. Pakistan have lost both openers. Mohammed Siraj dismissed Abdullah Shafique on 20 runs. Siraj got him out of LBW as he was trying to play across against Indian pacer. Pakistan were two wickets down in 12 overs, while Mohammad Rizwan survived an LBW call due to the DRS.

Iftikhar Ahmed and Mohammad Rizwan are currently at the crease fighting against Indian spinners. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bowl first in Ahmedabad. India are playing with three pacers and two spinners against Pakistan. Ahmedabad conditions will offer dew, and Pakistan will need to post a big total to challenge Indian batting-order. Team India chased down 273 runs in 35 overs against Afghanistan.
