This is the 8th meeting in the World Cup tournament between the two, and Pakistan are searching for their maiden World Cup win against India. Pakistani openers did a decent job against Indian new-ball pace attack. Abdullah Shafique and Imam-ul-Haq added 41 runs for the opening wicket.
Left-hand batter Imam-ul-Haq (36) was looking great in his movement, and he also began his innings in fiery style. Imam smashed three boundaries against Mohammed Siraj in the first over. He looked dangerous during his innings and smashed six boundaries. He looked in touch till he played a loose shot to lose his wicket against all-rounder Hardik Pandya. Imam’s wicket went viral immediately, as it had a cheeky element to it.
Hardik Pandya's magic trick to dismiss Imam Ul Haq!
Fans claim a 'magic' trick as Hardik Pandya kissed and whispered something on the ball before he was about to go for Imam’s wicket. Pandya bowled a fuller-length delivery to invite Imam-ul-Haq for a drive. Imam went ahead, but his attempt to take the ball away from him made him a little uncomfortable.
