At one stage, they were on the cusp of getting eliminated. However, they made it to the top four. They later crushed Australia Women in the semi-finals, scripting the record for the highest-ever chase in Women’s ODI. Eventually, they outplayed South Africa in the final by 52 runs to lift the trophy.
