Harry Brook scored his second century in the ENG vs IND test series.
England batter Harry Brook scored a marvellous century in the second innings of the ongoing fifth test against India at The Oval, London. The right-handed batsman scored his second ton of the series and his tenth century in the longest format of the game.
England have a target of 374 runs in The Oval test and Harry Brook’s innings put them in a dominating position during the chase as he slammed his century off just 91 deliveries. He slammed 14 boundaries and two sixes during his innings and was eventually dismissed by Akash Deep for 111 runs off 98 deliveries.
Brook also etched a brilliant partnership of 195 runs with Joe Root for the fourth wicket. England reached 317/4 on the scoreboard at the end of the second session on day four. Brook has ended with 481 runs in the series at an average of 53.44.
