Royal Challengers Bangalore pacer Mohammed Siraj was involved in a heated exchange with DC opener Phil Salt.

Royal Challengers Bangalore are in the news for some other reasons as well. RCB’s former captain Virat Kohli’s altercation in the Lucknow Super Giants game is still in the news, and now their pacer Mohammed Siraj has made headlines against Delhi Capitals. Chasing 183, Delhi Capitals openers are going strong against RCB. Phil Salt is leading the charge against RCB and has scored a few quick runs. Mohammed Siraj after getting hit for a few boundaries against Phil Salt was a little fired up. Delhi Capitals scored 70 runs in their powerplay. They have lost David Warner’s wicket.

What happened between Siraj and Salt

In the 5th over, Phil Salt smashed three back-to-back boundaries against Siraj. Salt smashed 2 consecutive sixes and a four. Right after that in the fourth ball of the over, Siraj bowled a bouncer against Salt. Salt after that said a few words to Siraj while giving a smile. This made Siraj more angry and Siraj reacted aggressively. Delhi Capitals captain David Warner came in between both the players to stop them both and get on with the game. Later umpires called RCB captain Faf du Plessis and asked him to keep Siraj calm. Now, it will be interesting to watch how the Match Referee will react to this small altercation between the two.
