5. 123 vs West Indies, 2016, Sharjah
Batting at No. 3, Babar Azam scored a brilliant century (123) against West Indies at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in Sharjah in 2016.
Batting first, Pakistan made a daunting total of 337/5 on the back of Babar’s sublime knock of 123 runs off 126 balls, which included nine fours and a six.
Pakistan later won the contest by 59 runs
4. 125 vs Zimbabwe, 2020, Rawalpindi
Known for his composure, Babar scored a sensational 125 against Zimbabwe in Rawalpindi in 2020.
Chasing a formidable target of 279, Babar led Pakistan’s charge, smashing 125 off 125 balls, including 13 fours and a six. He was well supported by Khushdil Shah, who scored 33 runs.
The nail-biting match ended in a tie after 50 overs, with Zimbabwe ultimately winning in the Super Over.
3. 125* vs West Indies, 2017, Providence
One of Babar’s most memorable ODI innings came in Providence against West Indies in 2017.
Babar’s unbeaten 125-run knock, which consisted of seven fours and three sixes, propelled the visitors to a challenging first-innings score of 282 runs. The Pakistan No. 3 was well supported by Mohammed Hafeez and Imad Wasim, who contributed 32 and 43 runs respectively.
Pakistan won the game by 74 runs.
2. 151 vs Nepal, 2023, Multan
Babar Azam cracked a brilliant century against Nepal in the Asia Cup 2023. Batting first, the Pakistan innings was led by Babar’s 151-run knock, which came off 131 balls.
The then Pakistani skipper joined hands with Iftikhar Ahmed to add 214 runs for the fifth wicket. Babar’s superb innings included 14 fours and four sixes and pushed Pakistan to a huge total of 342.
Pakistan won the match by 238 runs.
1. 158 vs England, 2021, Birmingham
Babar Azam registered his highest ODI score of 158 against England in Birmingham in 2021.
Batting first, Pakistan notched up a challenging total of 331/9 on the back of Babar’s innings of 158 runs off 139 balls, which included 14 fours and four sixes. He put on 179 runs with Mohammad Rizwan for the third wicket.
Despite Babar’s hundred, Pakistan lost the game by three wickets.
