Shakib Al Hasan is Bangladesh’s third-highest run-scorer and highest wicket-taker in test cricket.

Shakib Al Hasan has played a huge, perhaps the biggest role in Bangladesh’s cricketing history. The legendary all-rounder has been one of the main pillars of his nation’s cricket team in all three formats for the past decade and a half. He is unarguably Bangladesh’s greatest and most prominent cricketer of all time.

Shakib’s accurate bowling and positive batting approach have made him one of the most recognised all-rounders in world cricket. Shakib has also spent significant periods at the top of the ICC all-rounder’s rankings in different formats, which showcased his exceptional performances and his consistency.

Talking about test cricket, Shakib made his test debut against the Indian cricket team in Chattogram in May 2007.

So far, Shakib has scored over 4500+ runs in 69 tests at an average of 38.50. The all-rounder is Bangladesh’s highest wicket-taker in test cricket with 242 scalps.
