The teams grabbing the top two spots in the points table get a big advantage. They get two chances to reach the final. Also, they can become finalists by winning only one game, i.e. Qualifier 1. Teams in the third and fourth places need to win two consecutive games to book a berth in the final.

The defending champions have two more games left in the league stage. If they win both matches, they will confirm their place in the top two. They can also finish in the first position.
If they win only one out of the next two games, they still have a very good chance of a top-two finish due to a superior Net Run Rate (NNR). However, the results of Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Gujarat Titans, and Rajasthan Royals can also make an impact.
If RCB lose both their matches, their chances of finishing in the top two will be reduced, as other teams’ results could impact them.
Meanwhile, Bengaluru are followed by the Gujarat Titans (GT) in the second spot in the points table with 16 points. SRH (14 points) and Punjab Kings (13) follow them in the next two positions.
Rajasthan Royals take fifth place with 12 points. These five teams are the biggest competitors for the playoffs.
