How much does Virat Kohli charge per post on Instagram?

Indian star batsman Virat Kohli has 253 million followers on his Instagram profile.

Virat Kohli is by far the most popular cricketer on the planet and one of the wealthiest and most followed athletes in the world. This can not only be judged by the followers he has on social media, but also by how much he charges for a single post on respective social media platforms.

The legendary cricketer is so well-known that even tennis great Roger Federer and football greats Sergio Ramos and Wayne Rooney follow him on Instagram. It wouldn't be incorrect to refer to Kohli as the face of Indian cricket given that he has 253 million more followers than Rohit Sharma, the current captain of India.

Given his massive following on social media, Virat Kohli charges a premium amount for posting on social media platforms with Instagram being his most favored app.

As per data shared by StockGro, a Bengaluru-based trading and investing company, Virat Kohli charges ₹8.9 crores and ₹2.5 crores per post on Instagram and Twitter respectively.

Virat Kohli earns INR 175 crores income from brand endorsements only

The data has also revealed that Kohli is one of the “world's highest-earning athletes” with a staggering net worth of ₹1050 crores. Kohli has a hefty ₹7 crore contract with the BCCI and makes ₹15 lakhs per Test appearance, ₹6 lakhs each for ODI, and ₹3 lakhs from a single T20 match.

In the Indian Premier League, he plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore and earns INR 15 crores yearly.

He is associated with more than 18 brands and charges ₹7.50 to 10 crore annually for shooting per advertisement, reportedly the most by any celebrity in Bollywood and the sports industry. This fetches him close to ₹175 crores from brand endorsements.

Apart from his earnings from cricket, he is also the co-owner of the Indian Super League club FC Goa, a tennis team, and a pro-wrestling team. He has two residences as well, a house worth ₹34 crore in Mumbai and another valued at ₹80 crore in Gurugram.
