ICC Champions Trophy 2025: England full schedule, fixtures, venues, dates and timings

England are placed in Group B of ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced the itinerary and schedule for the ICC Champions Trophy (CT) 2025 on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. The competition will start in Karachi on February 19 and conclude in Lahore on March 9; if India advance, the final will take place in Dubai.

There will be 15 matches in the competition’s ninth edition, which will be held in Dubai and Pakistan. Three group matches each will be held in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. If India fail to qualify, the second semi-final and final will be held in Lahore.

Eight teams will compete in the event, who are divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. Group A consists of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and New Zealand. Group B has England, Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan.

England’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 schedule:  

2019 ICC World Champions England has never won the Champions Trophy, though they have hosted the tournament twice in succession. In the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, England will face Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa in their Group B matches.

England will begin their tournaments against rivals Australia in Lahore on February 22. They will then face off against Afghanistan on February 26 at the same venue. England’s last game in Group B will be against South Africa in Karachi on March 1.

The semi-finals of the tournament will be played on March 4 and 5 followed by the final on March 9.

Mar 1: England v South Africa, Karachi

In which venues will England play their matches at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025?

England will be playing two of their Group B matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 at the same venue, Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Their match against South Africa will be played at the National Stadium in Karachi.
