ICC Champions Trophy 2025: New Zealand full schedule, fixtures, venues, dates and timings

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will start on February 19 and the final will be played on March 9.

On Tuesday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed the schedule of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The governing council had earlier confirmed that the competition will be played in a hybrid model – with India’s matches being played in Dubai and rest in Pakistan.

The tournament will host its first game on February 19, 2025, between Pakistan and New Zealand. The two groups will feature four teams each. A total of 15 games will be played, with the final slated for March 9.

India and Pakistan are in Group A, but India will play their matches in Dubai. The tournament will follow a single round-robin format. The top two sides from each group will proceed to the semifinals.

Pakistan are the defending champions, having won the 2017 edition.

Group A – India, Bangladesh, New Zealand and Pakistan

Group B – England, Australia, South Africa and Afghanistan

New Zealand are one of the former champions. They won the second edition in 2000 when it was known as the ICC Knockout Trophy. Since then, they have been searching for their second title.

New Zealand’s full schedule for ICC Champions Trophy 2025:

New Zealand are placed in Group A along with India, Bangladesh, and hosts Pakistan. New Zealand will be part of the tournament opener against Pakistan on February 19 in Karachi.

Their second group game will be up against Bangladesh on February 24 in Rawalpindi. They will play their final group match against India on March 2 in Dubai.

In which venues will New Zealand play their matches at the ICC Champions Trophy 2025?

New Zealand will be travelling throughout the tournament. They will play against Pakistan at the National Stadium, Karachi, and for their second game, they have to travel to Rawalpindi. Then, they will move to Dubai to play against India.

All games during the ICC Champions Trophy have a scheduled start tie of 2:30 PM IST / 9:00 AM IST / 2 PM PKT. According to New Zealand time, their matches will start at 10 PM NZDT.
