The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 final will be played on March 9.

After conclusion of group stage of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025, the tournament is set to move to the knockouts. The group stage saw batsmen dominate games at all venues in Pakistan, while bowlers had fun in Dubai leg of the tournament.

India emerged as the strongest team of the tournament, winning all three games in Group A to top the group. New Zealand, on the other hand, defeated Pakistan and Bangladesh before losing to India to finish second in the group with four points.

The scenario in Group B was more complex, with three teams – South Africa, Australia, and Afghanistan keeping their hopes alive until the last game. South Africa and Australia ultimately qualified from the group with five and four points respectively.

England and Pakistan had a disastrous tournament with both failing to win a single game. However, Pakistan received one point as their game against Bangladesh in Rawalpindi was washed out due to rain.

England opener Ben Duckett finished group stage as the highest run-scorer with 227 runs, while New Zealand’s Matt Henry emerged as the most successful bowler with eight wickets.
