Indian Cricket team have unveiled their jersey for ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The official kit sponsor of Indian cricket team jersey, Adidas, unveiled team India's jersey for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup 2023. Adidas became the official sponsor of Indian team jersey just a few months ago, and they have now revamped team India's jersey for the upcoming mega event. The three strips on the shoulder have been replaced by tri-colour. Indian team have been awaiting an ICC title win for the last 10 years, as they have not won any big ICC events since Champions Trophy in 2013.

'3 ka dream' Theme

In a new jersey released by Adidas, A vibrant tri-colour has been added to shoulders along with one more change. BCCI logo is placed on the left side of the jersey, and two stars will represent India’s two ICC World Cup wins in 1983 under Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni in 2011. With Indian team entering the tournament for their 3rd World Cup title, Adidas themed their World Cup campaign around India’s quest for the 3rd title. ‘3 Ka Dream’, a rap song, has also been added to the launch video.

Famous Indian singer Raftaar has sung the rap song ‘3 Ka Dream', signifying India's campaign for the upcoming World Cup 2023 in India. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill are part of the video released by Adidas. Adidas posted the video with the caption, "1983 ignited the spark, 2011 brought in glory, 2023 marks the dream of #3kadream, Impossible nahi hai ye sapna (This dream is not impossible)."

India will open their World Cup campaign against Australia at Chepauk Stadium in Chennai on October 8th. Their big business clash against Pakistan will be played at Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14. As a host, India are clear favourites to lift the World Cup championship. In the last three editions, host teams have come out victorious from the tournament. India in 2011, Australia in 2015, and England in 2019 were crowned champions as hosts.
