Pakistan have been knocked out of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 semi-finals race.
Pakistan will say goodbye to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 with a crushing defeat against England at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. They got off to a horrendous start and lost Abdullah Shafique (0) and Fakhar Zaman (1) in just three overs. Pakistan’s middle order made some recovery in the chase and took the team to a respectable score. Agha Salman (51) and Mohammad Rizwan (36) played a few great shots in their stay at the wicket. England bowled Pakistan out on 244 runs. David Willey picked up 3 wickets in his final game for England.

England have secured a place in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 with a much-needed win over Pakistan in their final league game against Pakistan. Pakistan needed a big win over England to make a grand entry into the semi-final round but they failed miserably. Pakistan will be finishing 5th in the table with 8 points and 4 wins in their 9 league matches. India, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand have qualified for the semi-final with India taking on New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium on 15th November and Australia taking on South Africa on 16th November.

Sri Lankan pace bowler Dilshan Madushanka is second in the list with 21 wickets in 9 games.
