Ben Duckett scored 131 runs in IND vs ENG 2025 ODI series.

England have received a major relief just days before the start of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. After scans, opener Ben Duckett has been declared fit and available for the tournament by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

Duckett sustained an injury on his left groin during England’s 142-run defeat to India in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. The opener scored 34 off 22 balls in the second innings, but appeared to be in pain while running between the wikets.

The 30-year-old finished as the leading run-scorer for England in a disappointing series, scoring 131 runs across three games at a strike rate of 122, including one half-century.

Duckett is now expected to open the innings along side Phil Salt in the upcoming Champions Trophy.
