Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets against Pakistan.

India have tightened their grip in their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Being asked to bowl first, India used the conditions effectively to bundle out Pakistan for 241 runs. Hardik Pandya set the tone for the Men in Blue by dismissing Babar Azam in the powerplay.

Pakistan fought back with a 104-run partnership between Saud Shakeel and Mohammad Rizwan for the third wicket, but lost their way after Axar Patel removed Rizwan for 46. Shakeel top-scored for Pakistan with 62, while Kuldeep Yadav led the Indian bowling attack with three wickets.

The Indian management will hope Kuldeep maintains his form, especially as the pitch is expected to slow down as the tournament progresses.
