ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025: Most runs, most wickets after final, IND-W U19 vs SA-W U19

IND-W U19 defeated SA-W U19 by nine wickets to win the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025.
India defeated South Africa by nine wickets to win their second consecutive ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup title in Kuala Lumpur on February 2, Sunday.
The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup, first held in 2023, has been a big success and has helped in growing women’s cricket in several parts of the world. It has given young women cricketers a chance to play in high-level competitive matches.
The 2025 edition was a highly competitive competition, with India, England, South Africa, and Australia making it to the semi-finals after their impressive performances in the group stage and Super Six rounds.
South Africa beat Australia by five wickets in the first semi-final, and India defeated England by nine wickets in the second semi-final.
In the final, India bowled out South Africa for just 82 runs on the back of excellent performances from Gongadi Trisha (3/15) and Parunika Sisodia (2/6).
India chased down the target easily, winning by nine wickets. Gongadi Trisha again stole the show with an unbeaten 44 off 33 balls.
ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025: Most runs
Gongadi Trisha capped off a phenomenal tournament, finishing as the highest run-scorer with 309 runs. England’s Davina Perrin, who notched up a half-century against the USA, finished second with 176 runs. Following Perrin with 143 runs is Indian opener G. Kamalini.
Australian top-order batter Caoimhe Bray and South African opener Jemma Botha close the list with 119 and 105 runs in the tournament, respectively.

1. Gongadi Trisha (IND) – 305 runs
2. Davina Perrin (ENG) – 176 runs
3. G. Kamalini (IND) – 143 runs
4. Caoimhe Bray (AUS) – 119 runs

ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025: Most wickets
India spinner Vaishnavi Sharma ended up as the tournament’s leading wicket-taker with 17 wickets. Aayushi Shukla finished the competition in the second spot with 14 wickets.
South African spinner Kayla Reyneke came third with 11 wickets. India’s Parunika Sisodia and Australia’s Hasrat Gill round off the list with 10 wickets each.

1. Vaishnavi Sharma (IND) – 17 wickets
2. Aayushi Shukla (IND) – 14 wickets
3. Kayla Reyneke (SA) – 11 wickets
