List of all teams to win ICC Women's U19 T20 World Cup

The first edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup was played in 2023.
The inaugural edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup was originally set for 2021, but was moved to 2023 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The competition has been a big success and has helped in growing age-group and junior women’s cricket in several parts of the world. It has given young women cricketers a chance to play in competitive matches.
The tournament features 16 teams divided into four groups, each with four teams. The top three teams from each group move on to the Super Six round, which has 12 teams divided into two groups of six teams each. The top two teams from each Super Six group then qualify for the semi-finals.
There have been two editions of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup played so far and the third edition will be played in 2027.
On that note, let’s take a look at the winners of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup so far.

1. India – 2023
Led by Shafali Verma, India had a fantastic campaign in the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup in 2023 in South Africa. They went through the group stages unbeaten, defeating South Africa, UAE, and Scotland.
In the Super Six round, India faced their only defeat of the campaign, losing to Australia by seven wickets. However, the Women in Blue bounced back with a comfortable win over Sri Lanka to secure their spot in the semi-finals.
They then beat New Zealand by eight wickets in the semi-final and followed it up with a seven-wicket win over England in the final to clinch the trophy. Shweta Sehrawat finished as the leading run-scorer of the tournament with 297 runs in seven games.
2. India – 2025
Captained by Niki Prasad, India maintained a perfect record to win the 2025 edition of the ICC Women’s U19 T20 World Cup. India cruised through the group stages with comfortable wins over West Indies, Malaysia and Sri Lanka.
In the Super Six, India beat Bangladesh and Scotland easily, winning by eight wickets and 150 runs, respectively, to reach the semi-finals. In the semi-final, they beat England by nine wickets. At the end, India defeated South Africa by nine wickets in a one-sided final to claim the title.
Gongadi Trisha and Vaishnavi Sharma starred for India scoring 309 runs and picking up 17 wickets respectively.
