India will play the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 opener against Sri Lanka on September 30.

The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Monday, June 16, announced the fixtures for the Women’s Cricket World Cup. The tournament will be played in India and Sri Lanka and will begin on 30th September, with the final set to take place on 2nd November, either in Colombo or Bengaluru.

Hosts India will be playing the first game of ICC Women’s World Cup 2025. They will be locking horns with Sri Lanka at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The following day, Australia will be locking horns with New Zealand at the Holkar Stadium in Indore.

The much-anticipated India vs Pakistan clash in the ICC Women’s World Cup 2025 is slated to take place on 5th October in Colombo. The Women in Green will be playing all their games in Sri Lanka because of the mutual agreement made by the ICC between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

The league stage will end on 26th October with two clashes. England will be facing New Zealand in Guwahati, while India will take on Bangladesh in Bengaluru. The top four teams in the points table will qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.

The semi-finals will begin on 29th October, followed by a second knockout clash to be played on October 30th. The summit clash will be taking place on November 2nd.
