ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 Points Table after 3rd Test, Australia vs Pakistan 2024

Australia have climbed to top of the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table.
Australian opener David Warner had a terrific outing against Pakistan on his farewell test at the Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney. Australia won the final test match played at SCG and went top of the table in the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table. Pakistan’s batting lineup had a dismal show with the bat throughout the series and failed to challenge the Australian pace attack.
Pakistan did manage to get a lead of 14 runs in the first innings, but a brilliant spell from Josh Hazlewood (4/16) rattled Pakistan’s batting. They could only manage to put 115 runs on the board in the second innings and give Australia an easy task of 130 runs to chase. David Warner had a terrific farewell as he went on to score a fifty in his final test innings.
ICC WTC 2023-25: Points Table
After the conclusion of the test series, Australia have climbed to top of the table with three back-to-back wins against Pakistan. Australia got 36 points from the entire series and went up to the top of the table with 56.25 PCT points in 8 test matches. Australia overall have 54 points with 5 wins and one draw. India have slipped down one place as they went second after Australia’s elevation in the points table. India have 54.16 PCT points in 4 test matches.

South Africa are now third on the table with 50 PCT points, New Zealand also have 50 PCT points and they are placed fourth. South Africa recently played a two-match series against India that ended in a 1-1 draw. Bangladesh also played out a 1-1 draw against New Zealand last month. Bangladesh have 50 PCT points as well and they are placed fifth in the WTC points table.
Pakistan started the series with 100 PCT points and pole position, but now they find themselves at sixth position on the table. Three consecutive losses caused big tremors in Pakistan’s WTC campaign. Pakistan have 36.66 PCT points in 5 test matches. West Indies are placed 7th with 16.67, while England are 8th with 15 PCT points. Sri Lanka are yet to open their account in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 points table.
